The Convertible Jump

Tom was sat in the back of his family's convertible with the roof down when he noticed the people in the car behind him.

They'd been following him for the last half an hour, and so Tom had begun to look at the followers in more detail.

The driver was mostly human with the exception of his eyes which made Tom feel uneasy because he felt that they were looking straight into his soul; the man in the passenger seat had his tongue wiping around and licking his lips, and he was using his extremely pointy tail as a warning; the third man in the backseat was almost completely reptilian in appearance to the point that the only human part of him were his shoulders.

Seeing the threat that they posed, Tom unbuckled his seatbelt and prepared to climb onto the bar that ran between the front of the car and the back of the car. Feeling the wind on his face, he pulled himself up onto the beam and then slowly stood up onto two feet.

He could see the aliens were shocked by what he was undertaking, as was everyone else on the street; a local policeman was calling across the road telling him to get down before he got himself killed. Ignoring everything around him and judging the distance between him and the reptiles; he jumped ten feet into the air and then came crashing down onto the bonnet of the stalker car, causing it to swerve across the entire road and back.

Pulling out the knife that he always kept handy out of his pocket and then used it to scratch the front wind shield which caused the car to swerve again as the all three non-humans covered their hyper-sensitive ears in an attempt to block out the high-pitched screeching. Once he had made a circle on the glass he used his right foot to kick in the glass that proceed to shatter and spray the driver with glass.

Using the knife allowed for the passenger to be swiftly disposed of. Leaving the Human-Skinless reptile in the back of the far as the only creature left to deal with. The alien tried to jab at Tom with the point of his tail only to find that that part of his tail had been sliced clean of - and as a result Tom was able to lunge forwards and thrust the knife straight through the head of the third alien.

And then the car swerved; the driver had managed to turn towards the river before he expired.

Anticipating the danger he was now in, Tom jumped into the front of the car and then turned the car so that it would strike the the railing. He also pulled on the hand brake in order to slow the car down enough so that it didn't go barreling through the hand rails and into the river.

The car slowed before hitting the railing which caused Tom to jolt forwards and crash through what remained of the wind shield.
