Ambush Sneak Peak

Ralph was the smartest kid in the class while also holding the ability to get along with everyone he knew. He was of average good-lookingness and a crazy haircut that reminded most people of Ed Sheren. He was a typical kind but extremely naive thirteen year old who had witnessed his fair share of death and blood; the only problem was that he did not remember any of it, like Vicky he had forgotten everything that had made him. He kept his overall personality but lost the events that made him lose his naiveness.

While waiting for his best friends, the twins Benjie and Jaso, to arrive, Ralph sat in his room doing his maths. He’d gotten through the majority of it by the time that Benjie and Jaso actually arrived at his house.
‘What took you guys so long?’ he asked. ‘It’s been an hour since I called you.’
‘Long story,’ Jaso panted. Jaso was an average student, getting around the national average in everything but Art and Drama; however, out of him and his brother, Benjie, Jaso definitely got the brains. Jaso usually wore jeans and some gaming related T-shirt, today the shirt was COD.

Benjie was larger than his twin brother, stronger too. What he had in strength made up for what he lacked in brains. He was bottom of the class for everything except PE. The PE department had banned him from partaking in their lessons after he broke someone’s arm and dislocated their shoulder. He wore tracksuit bottoms most of the time with some old T-shirt passed down by his older brother.

‘We’re falling apart Tom,’ Emily said to herself. ‘Where the hell are you?’

Meanwhile outside in the hall, Leanne’s younger sister stood just out of sight while slowly weaving time and space around her sisters and their friends.

She was a smart young girl, but was never awake enough to use her brain because of the nightmares she’d been plagued with; however, unlike Emily, she was stuck with hers and no amount of counselling was going to help that. The same problem occurred with her looks, while she had the prospect of being beautiful, she lacked the time to complete that objective as she was always screaming all night and so woke up at stupid times in the morning.

‘Have fun in 2861,’ she snarled as the temporal energy surrounding the others spiked and they vanished.
