NCIS: Red-Handed

Following his realisation that everything he had been working on was linked through some rather abstract connections and that the two murders NCIS was investigating were Felix as a way of luring NCIS into a trap set by the terrorists he was undercover working at.

He rushed through the rather colourful crowd of people as he attempted to make it back to the crime scene, however he quickly realised that he was extremely unlikely to make it to suspected building in time to stop the bomb from being set off. Unfortunately for him he was already heading into the bomb-building.

He entered through the front door and rushed towards the back. Without thinking much he launches one of the terrorists into a portal that landed him in a holding cell in the NCIS field office before moving on to deal with the other two terrorists.

He spun around and threw a knife that pieced a second terrorist in the throat. Then he turned to face the third.
“Tom?” he asked, baffled by his presence while the timer on the bomb hit a minute.
“Yeah, and you are now dead,” Tom laughed before speeding across the room, forming a sword in the process and shoving it through the heart of the terrorist.

Once he’d disposed of the teacher, he rushed back outside as the timer continued to count downwards, he rushed around the back of the shops and into the alleyway that NCIS were currently working in. In his head he had a mental countdown of the bomb. He realised that he probably wasn’t going to make it in time to save his team; he realised that he was probably not going to save anyone from the bomb.

10 seconds.

He turned the corner into the alleyway and he saw his team at the other end, themselves unaware of the danger they were in. He raced towards them, unlocking energy that could kill him to ensure that he made it to his team.

2 seconds.

Almost there. He felt his nose bleeding as he strained himself too far.

1 second.

He was there, right on top of them. Without thinking about the repercussions upon his own body, he jumped between the building and the team and formed a large force field that took the full force of the blast, forcing him flying backwards and into the building behind him.

The explosion forced him into an unconscious state that ultimately would lead to him being in a coma for two weeks. During which Geoff brought his plans further forwards and readied himself for any backlash from Tom when he eventually woke up.
