Three Years Too Early...: Demolish With Itself

Sleeping in a Supermarket underneath the clothes was not the most comfortable location in the world, but it gave Naomi the necessary rest to return to the place she had awoken at the day before; and hopefully find Tom in the process.

She exited the supermarket without alerting anyone to her presence and quickly made her way back towards the main town. She didn’t get too far however.

Having accidently let her loose the previous day, Geoff was hunting her down before his wife, Jackie, realised that she was missing. CHANGED!!

Having located her in the past following her disappearance in 3000. Geoff began trying to reacquire her to discover how she had travelled back in time. Geoff was Tom’s biological father (although Tom had long since disowned him) as such he had short scruffy black hair with unnaturally green eyes, the right of which had a small scar from a cut delivered by Tom on the one night that decided the fate of the Protectors in 2980.

Everyday that Geoff listened to Jackie’s advice since then he had regretted his choice. He regretted turning on the one person who didn’t use him. He regretted listening to everything Jackie said, and then performing the tasks she set without question. But most of all…he regretted trying to kill his son.

He waited for the escapee on the quickest road back to Newton Abbot, the same road she had run up the day before.

As cars rushed passed her to her left, she began to slowly build a picture that made slightly more sense. Using the fact that both Coombeshead and Tesco were still standing, the primary school looked like it was used most days and the amount of cars that were on the road, she eventually figured out that she was no longer in 3000, but instead she was further into the past than the alien invasion stretched. I remember him planning something…but he is in a primary school and the technology level is too high. He’s not going to be ready for when the come for the Earth… she thought to her self as she crossed over a junction. The world will fall like it did before. Surely…

Waiting over the bridge, next to the roundabout, Geoff was stood partially ready, his heart not really in the fight; and he knew that. He knew it would be a problem, and it would almost defiantly result in him losing. Suddenly he felt the wind change direction completely. Instead of coming towards him, it was now moving in the same direction as he was watching. “And the prisoner approaches…” he monotoned absentmindedly, forming a small knife of temporal energy in left hand, out of view of the passing early-morning traffic.

Naomi guessed that whatever destroyed the huts would be following her. She was not prepared to walk over the bridge to find Geoff waiting for her, knife in hand. “Really…” she moaned as she approached him. “Why destroy the sheds though?”
“What sheds?” he questioned as he turned the knife into a two-handed sword, which radiated a hellish red which unnerved the majority of the passing traffic who slowed and sped-up simultaneously causing some rather hideous pileups in the middle of the central road between Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton.
“Great…something else is following me,” she snarled grumpily before forcing a huge gust of wind at her opponent sending him flying backwards. Quickly she made the wind her flying backwards into the air, high above the supermarket.

Despite her desire to get to Bradley Barton quickly, she decided that it would be best to deal with Geoff. As such she readied herself high above the supermarket and began using her telekinesis to remove parts of the building and form a large metal and concrete pillar. Without really noticing it she also began pulling in empty cars from the car park and removing basically the entire second floor of the local fish and chip shop in the nearby village and the roof of the petrol station.

Geoff appeared not-so-suddenly in front of Naomi. Without even thinking about the time of day, she pulled the pillar down upon the man forcing him and the ceiling down towards the ground, crushing both the multi-storey car park of the store and the store itself.

Knowing that it takes more than that to bring Geoff down, Naomi quickly tasked the air-currents to getting her to Bradley Barton as quickly as possible in order to warn him of Geoff’s return. As well as to try and piece together what happened to her before she awoke in the middle of the playground in the middle of the night.
